Breathwork
WHAT IS BREATHWORK
Breathwork is a gentle yet powerful practice that uses conscious breathing to help you release emotional tension, reconnect with your body, and create space for clarity, calm, and healing.
BREATHWORK SESSIONS
There is no “standard” frequency for Therapeutic Breathwork sessions. Ideally you want to breathe regularly to keep momentum going. Everyone processes at a different pace between sessions though and there is a financial aspect involved as well. After you had the first Breathwork session I will ask you at the end of the session what you feel about the time of the next session.
As I said many times in various places on this website, I trust your body. Many of my clients choose to come fortnightly, some come weekly and others only once a month. Occasionally I also see clients who travel to London for a week and they come for an intense breathwork therapy, one session a day for several days. There is no wrong way, there is only your way.
THERAPEUTIC BREATHWORK
Every breathwork journey is unique, but individual sessions generally follow a three-part structure. This format offers a safe and supportive container for your experience, while allowing space for deep inner work to unfold naturally.
-
We begin with a conversation — a chance for you to share how you're feeling and what’s present for you in the moment. You might talk about your daily life, relationships, work, what’s been bringing you joy, and what you’ve been finding difficult.
We’ll also reflect on any shifts or insights since your last session: how you felt afterward, any memories or dreams that have come up, or emotional themes that feel relevant. This part of the session is an opportunity to ground in self-awareness and set an intention, whether spoken or simply felt.
-
When you’re ready, you’ll lie or sit comfortably, and I’ll gently guide you into conscious connected breathing — a rhythmic, continuous breath that becomes your pathway inward. As you drop into the breath, you may begin to access deeper layers of your experience: memories, emotions, physical sensations, limiting beliefs that need to be rewritten, or even insights and clarity that rise to the surface.
The breath will guide you — each journey is different. You may experience one strong energetic release or several subtle shifts. Some people enter a deep stillness; others feel their body move or express in tune with the energy flow.
The active breathing phase can last anywhere from a few minutes to about 90 minutes, depending on what’s needed. When the process naturally completes, you’ll return to a resting state — often feeling calm, clear, and deeply at peace.
You’ll then be invited to rest and integrate, lying quietly in a position that feels most nurturing to you.
-
We’ll close the session by gently reflecting on your experience. This is a space for you to give voice to what arose, connect the dots, and explore how it relates to your life. Sometimes the insights are clear and need words; other times, silence says enough. Either way, we’ll honor the space you’re in.
Meet your therapist
Hi, my name is Aggie (Agnieszka) Korzeniewska, and I’ve spent over a decade supporting women just like you—women who are holding so much, often without anyone truly holding them.
I bring a down-to-earth, holistic approach to therapy. It’s not about “fixing” you. You’re not broken. It’s about helping you come back to yourself, slowly and safely, piece by piece.
Some women I work with find it easy to open up. Others sit quietly at first, unsure where to start. Both are completely okay. Your therapy space is yours. I’ll meet you wherever you are.
We’ll talk. We’ll breathe. We’ll include your body—because it remembers the stress, the joy, the heartbreak, the survival. You don’t have to have all the words. We’ll find them together.
Whether you’re overwhelmed by motherhood, facing a big life change, or just can’t shake the feeling that something isn’t right, I offer a place where you can stop running, take off the mask, and feel what needs to be felt.
